How to choose a domain?

I want to open download youtube videos website (it's just example),
so instead of buy domain name like this YoutubeVideoDownloader.com,
What do you think about domain like this, YVD.com (something like acronym)?

I wouldn't go for acronyms more than 3 letters long without globally comprehensible meaning. Maybe you can try something like videodownloader.com? Then you can have a section for youtube or other social media.

Yea I don't think acronym is a good choice, it's very difficult for your visitor to memorize the domain, and not good for SEO.
