I would recommend Cloudflare just for the fact that you have Layer 7 DDoS protection included. Might have errors sometimes, but I think it's worth it for the security it brings.

agree with robiro1 and Jordan, go for cloudflare. We have control over the dns, even if the hosting provider is down and we can point the domains to a backup location, if we setup a backup for our sites.
