Compare to Plesk, cPanel is more user-friendly. For example one can easily add redirection and such where in Plesk they are hide away under hosting settings. Also cPanel updates are bulletproof. With Plesk there are usually all kinds of problems with updates.

cPanel is costlier but the product support is better Plesk. Check out this blog for extra information on comparison between cPanel vs Plesk https://www.mondoze.com/blog/uncategoriz...l-vs-plesk

You can try both for a couple of days and decide which one suits you better. There are many hosting providers that give you free trial which you can utilize.

cPanel may cost more, but really my first choice.

If you ever occur any errors, you can always ask the cPanel support, and they will help you.
It's also somewhat more user friendly than plesk. So worth the bucks.

for the end user is no difference (matter of habit)

support OS:
CPanel - CentOS, CloudLinux, or RHEL
Plesk Onyx - CentOS, CloudLinux, or RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian

Plesk has a lot of free plugins + Docker, but interface is not too fast

speed & security depends only on the server admin skills.
