VPS is a better option

It's much easier for hosting providers to provide VPS, not shared hosting. There seems to be even more problems with shared. Leave your opinion Wink

I think the more useful questions would be, from an end user's perspective, would you get a VPS if you could get the same or better performance from a shared hosting?

As for a provider, managing a shared hosting server is just a server. If you do it well, you will have almost zero support tickets per client.

But managing a VPS node requires at least managing a network and a good grip on how internal functions of multiple operating systems work, how they are related to one another in processing a task.

With the evolution of control panels, both shared hosting server and VPS node can be 'managed' with minimal skill. But you will eventually require tweaking them. The more experience you have, the better you will be able to tweak.
