The Verge reported last week that many are discovering their hardware isn't compatible with the free upgrade from Windows 10.
Windows 11 will only officially support 8th Gen and newer Intel Core processors, and Apollo Lake and newer Pentium and Celeron processors.
It will also only officially support AMD Ryzen 2000 and newer processors, and 2nd Gen or newer EPYC chips.
Many Windows 10 users have been using Microsoft’s PC Health App to see if Windows 11 will work on their systems, only to find it doesn't.
